Just received LHOTL DVD and the "It's
Only a Movie" featurette was fascinating.
Fred Lincoln, Marc Sheffler and Lucy
Grantham have changed so much ! But
the voices and speech mannerisms assure
you it's them.
David still looks pretty much the same !The
behind the scenes photos were great, Wes
Craven had the early 70's hippie look
working ! Martin Kove was on it too !
Fun to see David and Fred reunited and
joking at the end of the featurette.
Great stuff.

You may want to check out my site (http://www.lasthouse.2ya.com), since I have landed the full specifications for the new upcoming UK DVD of 'Last House on the Left' from Anchor Bay.

According to them, David has recorded a bonus commentary with Fred and Marc! I'd love confirmation on that one from David.

Check-out the full list of extras in the news section of my site. The MGM DVD was great, and although this version will be cut, the bonus materials will be stellar.

My quote is from David's song 'Promised Land' - my personal favorite - which was released most widely on the 'Last House' soundtrack (yet wasn't actually a part of the film!).

It is just one of those tracks that sticks in your mind - truly excellent lyrics.

[Knight Of Vengeance]

I've leant 3 people the DVD already. This movie really stands on its own feet; even in its semi-truncated form. I think that people will talk about this film until doomsday.
Krug is probably my favorite horror villain of all time.

Yeah, I found the featurette very informative; as with all the extras. It's too bad though that Jeramie Rain and Sandra Peabody couldn't share their thoughts. But rumor has it that super-Sadie will appear on the British DVD. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

I only hope that with these wonderful recurring releases; that a fully uncut 91 minute print will ultimately pop out.
